Mounting of transmitters on Eleonora's Falcons (Antikythera Island)

In the beginning of September, on Antikythera Island, the project team captured 3 adult female falcons and equipped them with transmitters (GSM-UHF), in order to monitor their whereabouts during their life cycle, with special emphasis in the pre-breeding period. The data that will be collected will enable us to identify their foraging grounds and subsequently assess any threats the species might face.
